"a kinder, gentler, more genetically modified United States"

further controversy about genetically modified stuff. europe says it won't allow the stuff into the countries without a label. US wants the WTO to force Europe to drop the labels, citing "barrier to free trade" agreements. read it here: http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/europe/08/18/us.europe.gm.ap/index.html as an aside, this is another issue near and dear to my heart. in my opinion, based on some work i did at OSU and the authority of many other professor types, genetically modified food plants (and other things) are unstable and, though they may not hurt humans directly, completely screw up the created order of things. BAD! WHY BIG COUNTRY STAND FOR BAD THINGS?
