Sufjan rhymes with Calvin
Anyone want to road trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan to see Sufjan Stevens at Calvin College? Tickets are only $15.
Why couldn't we have gotten artists this good when we were in college?
Oh, yeah, we got They Might Be Giants.... But still. Fishbone? Nelson? Hootie and the Blowfish? Counting Crows? What kind of crap is that?!?!

I'll agree with most of your list there, but Counting Crows' first two albums were pretty magical.
Now that there are 342 bands who have made albums that sound like them, and now that they're releasing complete shite, it's hard to remember how good "Long December" and "Round Here" sounded when they first came out.
But that's just one dude's opinion.
(That having been said, I'd prefer seeing Sufman in concert to the Crows any day. All of Adam Duritz' live singing sounds to me like an unholy gallimaufry of cats being neutered and three-year-olds whining "are we there yet?"
