doo bee doobee dooooo read some stuff by a guy named Thomas Kelly this morning. He wrote during the 1930s and 40s and was definitely considered by many to be an early charismatic (not pentecostal). The excerpt I read this morning talked a lot about centering and learning to do what paul was talking about when he indicated that we were to "pray without ceasing." I admit, it's really tough. He talks a bunch about refocusing and refocusing during the course of a day, at the beginning, at the end. Until one day in the future, you'll be praying as you do other things. I think this might be what Paul is talking about.... Anyway, long road to get there for me. So much discipline needed!
