so, I was talking to my brother last night. he's in town with his wife before their trip to Ireland. I was telling him about my work and the things we're strategizing for the summer and he said, "Business is all a big game, man. You just have to learn how to play the game well." It sounded strangely reminscent of our conversation about politics with Angie. I thought, man if I were to accept that thought, it would be the beginning of a long summer of cynicism. And then I thought, man our whole generation is cynical! If life is just a game, then stewardship is for the losers.
