name game

Hello there, blog world. Hope you're having a relatively allergy-free day. I've been praying for rain more this past week than ever in my life, I think. Rain's the only thing that will get this tree pollen, o bane of my existence, out of the air. But in much more significant news: who wants to name our offspring? It's a new contest we just thought up. The winner will get to be remembered for generations as the person who named baby #2 and will earn the undying admiration (or loathing) of said child. In related news, I ran into someone at the park yesterday who named their infant Maisy. It's a lovely name. But given the rampant popularity of the British cartoon mouse, it's going to cause about as much trouble in elementary/middle school as "Clifford" or "Barney" or "Sponge Bob". So, aside from "Dweezle," "Moonunit," or the already-used "Greta," got any suggestions? Big prizes await you....

Girl: I love the names December and August for girls.
Also, Bianca, Iris and Isabella are sweet.

Boy: Fabian or Fenton..

I think Luke is ahead in the rankings. Especially for twins.
Although we were leaning toward Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dumb for our twin names.

erik and brooke, first congrates on the newest addition. second, i want to clarify about luke's names...these are REAL names. a co-worker of mine was telling us names (the ones luke mentioned) of kindergardners. and shi`thead is a name of a guy one of my co-workers supervises. so, chose wisely when naming your newest. (don't choose luke's)

Good suggestions, all.

I still think that Shi'thead should at least be an option.

And if not Shi'thead then at least Simon.

of course, if you go with simon then the next sensible option is for brooke to change her name to karen and you to change your name to randy. then get a dog and name her quincy. i'm just sayin'...

:D

Maybe don't go with verbalized name at all.

Maybe just a hand sign.
